The Bash is an annual summer professional wrestling "pay-per-view event" produced by World Wrestling Entertainment.

This will be the sixth show in WWE's production lineage for The Bash event and will be the first to be referred to as The Bash. It will feature talent from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. Currently, there are seven matches announced for the event's card.

This year's The Bash is scheduled on June 28, 2009 at ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. ONLINE SERVICES and some sites will be broadcasting this said event via Pay-per-View.

John Cena vs. The Miz in a Singles match

Randy Orton vs. Triple H for the WWE Championship.

The Colóns (Carlito and Primo) vs. The Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase) in a Tag team match for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship.

Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio in a Mask vs. Title match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Tommy Dreamer vs. Jack Swagger vs. Christian vs. Mark Henry vs. Finlay in a Championship Scramble for the ECW Championship

Melina vs. Michelle McCool for the WWE Women’s Championship

On June 7, 2009 at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is the fifth show in the lineage of the event, but the first to be referred to as Extreme Rules. It will feature talent from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. There are currently eight matches scheduled on the event's card.
